These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in all Homebridge Alliance Pty Ltd (HBA) programs, retreats, and events. By registering, you agree to comply with the following terms, which have been designed to prioritize safety, integrity, cultural sensitivity, and legal compliance.
Overview
HBA programs, retreats, and events are governed by these Terms & Conditions. Participants must agree to these terms to ensure safety, integrity, cultural sensitivity, and legal compliance.
Eligibility & Registration
• HBA offers programs for adults and parent/guardian–child dyads.
• Adult-only events are open to participants aged 18 and over.
• Intergenerational programs require one parent or legal guardian attending with one child.
• Each participant must complete required forms, provide accurate information, and agree to these terms.
• HBA reserves the right to accept or decline registrations based on safety, appropriateness, and group integrity
Payment, Transfers & Cancellations
• More than 10 weeks prior: $50 admin fee applies.
• 6–10 weeks prior: 30% of program fee retained.
• 4–6 weeks prior: 50% of program fee retained.
• Less than 4 weeks prior: No refunds or transfers.
Changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing to care@homebridge-alliance.com. We strongly recommend obtaining travel or event insurance to protect against disruptions, illness, or cancellation.
Personal Insurance & Risk Acknowledgement
• HBA does not provide travel, personal accident, or income protection insurance.
• Participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.
• Participants (and their children, where applicable) accept full responsibility for their actions and well-being.
• HBA, its directors, facilitators, staff, or partners cannot be held liable for any personal loss, injury, illness, property damage, or expense arising from participation—except where such loss is the direct result of proven negligence and cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Venue & Property Damage
Participants agree to care for all venue property and are liable for any damage to accommodation, equipment, or shared facilities. HBA reserves the right to recover repair or replacement costs directly from the participant or parent/guardian.
Health & Safety
• Participants confirm that they (and their child, if applicable) are fit to participate physically and emotionally.
• They agree to follow safety procedures, site-specific instructions, and risk-mitigation practices as briefed during the event.
• Trained first aid staff will be present.
• In the event of serious illness or injury, HBA may seek medical assistance at the participant’s cost.
Cultural Protocols & Respect
HBA honors Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) protocols. Participants agree to:
• Honour the custodianship of the land on which the program takes place.
• Adhere to all filming and image-sharing restrictions during sacred protocols (e.g., Welcome to Country, dance, didgeridoo).
• Engage with Elders and Indigenous facilitators with humility, respect, and consent.
Media, Documentation & Privacy
• Participants may be invited to share reflections or participate in photo/video documentation before, during, or after the program. This is always optional.
• No images or recordings will be used without written consent, and participants may withdraw consent at any time.
• Participants must respect image and cultural media restrictions imposed by Elders or land custodians.
Feedback & Testimonials
Testimonials may be requested at various stages of your journey with HBA. Participation is entirely voluntary. If shared, feedback may be used internally or in promotional materials, with consent and according to your preferences for anonymity.

At Homebridge Alliance (HBA), we are committed to protecting your personal information and using it with care, transparency, and integrity.
Why do we collect your data?

• Evaluate and improve the quality of our services.
What data do we collect?
• Contact details
• Emergency contact information
• Medical and dietary needs
• Age and participation history
• Optional: feedback, testimonials, media consent preferences
How is your data stored?
• On secure, access-controlled platforms.
• For a period of five (5) years from the date of collection, after which it is permanently and securely destroyed.
Who has access to your data?
• Only authorized HBA staff, facilitators, and third-party service providers will access your data solely for purposes relevant to event delivery and safety.
• We will never sell or share your information for advertising or third-party marketing.
• If we share information with external providers, we ensure these providers also adhere to privacy and data protection laws.
Cross-border data storage
• HBA systems may interact with international services or cloud-based tools, including providers in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, the EU, or the USA.
• We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your data to standards equivalent to Australian privacy law.
Cyber Insurance Coverage
• HBA maintains active Cyber Insurance underwritten by Lloyd’s (Talbot Underwriting Ltd, Syndicate 1183) through 360 Financial Lines.
Your rights under privacy law:
• Access and review your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
• Withdraw your consent at any time (where applicable).
• Lodge a complaint if you believe your data has been mishandled.

Emergency Medical Consent
In the case of injury or medical emergency, you authorize HBA to seek medical assistance. Ambulance and medical treatment costs are the responsibility of the participant or, in the case of intergenerational programs, their parent/guardian.
Confidentiality & Group Agreement
Participants agree to uphold confidentiality regarding the personal stories, identities, and emotional processes shared during the program. This includes protecting the privacy of other families and youth.
Force Majeure
If an event is cancelled or delayed due to circumstances beyond HBA’s control (such as extreme weather, pandemics, or natural disasters), HBA reserves the right to reschedule or relocate the program. Where possible, credit may be offered at HBA’s discretion.
Risk Acknowledgement & Waiver
Our programs involve activities in natural environments and may include physical movement, group work, emotional expression, and nature-based rituals. These are not clinical therapies, nor substitutes for medical or psychological treatment.
By registering, you confirm:
• You and your child are participating voluntarily.
• You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• You have disclosed any relevant health conditions that may affect participation.
• You release Homebridge Alliance, its staff, and facilitators from liability for injury, illness, or damages that arise during the program, except where caused by negligence.
Certified first aid personnel will be onsite, and a documented emergency evacuation plan is in place. Any medical expenses, including ambulance services, remain your responsibility.
Public Liability, Insurance, and External Facilitators
Homebridge Alliance holds public liability insurance to cover general risks for event participants. However:
• All physical activities are delivered by external professionals who carry their own valid insurance.
• Copies of insurance certificates are collected from each third-party provider.
• Participants must adhere to all safety guidelines shared by the team or partner facilitators.
Health & Safety Commitment
HBA follows health and safety protocols aligned with Australian guidelines. You agree to:
• Follow facilitator instructions.
• Respect boundaries, group norms, and nature-based settings.
• Refrain from using alcohol or non-prescription drugs during the event.
• Supervise your child at all times, unless otherwise arranged during structured programming.
Consent to Participate
By signing up, you acknowledge:
• You are aware of the nature of retreat activities.
• You consent to your child’s participation under your guidance.
• You understand that while all reasonable steps will be taken to create a safe and supportive environment, some risks may be inherent in outdoor or emotionally engaging experiences.
Confidentiality & Respect
Spaces are created for brave, respectful sharing. You agree to:
• Maintain confidentiality of stories, identities, and personal disclosures.
• Seek permission before sharing any content related to others outside the program.
• Model respectful, inclusive language and behavior throughout.
Media & Documentation Release
HBA may document programs via photography, video, and audio recording for sharing stories, building community awareness, and improving future programming.
Opt-In / Opt-Out Consent
By default, participants are not required to appear in any media. You will be asked to indicate your preference at registration.
Participants may withdraw or change consent at any time by notifying HBA staff verbally or by emailing connect@homebridge-alliance.com.
Aboriginal Cultural Protocols & Respect for First Nations Traditions
HBA operates with deep respect for the Traditional Custodians of the lands where gatherings occur, using protocols defined by Elders and community organizations.
For events including First Nations cultural elements:
• Filming or video recording of ceremonies is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized.
• Still photography may be permitted with verbal approval.
• Do not reproduce or share recordings or images of Aboriginal cultural content on social media or other platforms without express consent.
These protocols reflect HBA’s commitment to cultural safety, integrity, and respectful partnership.
Use of Materials
If you opt in, your likeness may be used by HBA for:
• Social media, newsletters, and educational publications
• Reports to partners and community stakeholders
• Internal training or promotional materials
If visibility poses a risk, notify HBA for extra precautions.
Testimonials and Feedback
At various stages, you may be invited to share reflections, stories, or feedback, including:
• Written or verbal feedback
• Creative expressions
• Photographs or short video/audio messages
• Post-event testimonials
All sharing is voluntary and only used with your informed, written consent. You may choose anonymity, set limits, or withdraw permission at any point.
